The Joy of Traveling

Our last night in the US (or so we thought)
Our trip has started off with a bang!  We were supposed to leave yesterday afternoon but our flight got cancelled.  Evidently a plane parked at a jetway but forgot to put on the brakes.  They opened the door, the plane started rolling backwards, ripped off the door, and the planed rolled backwards onto the runway.  Due to all of this, they cancelled our flight.  So we stayed the night in a hotel by the airport and hope to leave at 12:45 today (Thursday).  Our teammates made it off and should be within 4 hours of Uganda at the time of this blog.  One of our teammates, Kelly, had problems with her tickets and customs in Belgium and got stuck there for the night while the rest of the team went on.  She will join them Friday night and we will join them Saturday morning.  Keep us in your prayers as we have much more traveling to do. God bless you all.

Hope this note finds you all well and in Uganda. My foot surgery went well on 6/17/10. Now I am at home recuperating. Please keep us updated on your adventure. Know that we are praying for each of you daily.

Love

Aunt Debbie

Hey Guys,
Elders are meeting tonight to discuss how we will assist your ministry there. We have been praying for you and are excited about helping to plant gathering places in the community. I'll be emailing.
